THE DRAWING GYM FOR ARCHITECTS

(Online and in-person delivery)
4 x 2 hour sessions

UP TO 14 PEOPLE

The course motivates people to communicate effectively and provides skills and a broad set of tools for expressing ideas in the design process.

Emphasis lies in visual communication, and we work with a range of exercises from semi-formal (where line weight is critical), to 'conversational sketches' for rapid idea generation.

Unique exercises designed over years of participation with our clients are supplemented with demonstrations, short films, and examples of contemporary freehand drawings from the Drawing At Work on-line gallery.

Individuals are encouraged to progress at a comfortable pace in a stimulating and supportive atmosphere, while gaining knowledge and confidence using axonometric, 1 and 2 point perspective, orthographic drawing systems and section. The course culminates in a good natured design charette enabling attendees to exercise their new skills
