COURSE BREAKDOWN
This class is typically made up of art and design students, architects, people from the creative industries and others who wish to practise figure drawing. The classes are structured and include educational aids and illustrations to reinforce the teaching.
The weekends explore ways to build drawing skills, as a discipline in itself and offer a thorough introduction to a variety of drawing materials and methods. Working through simple drawing projects to help overcome literal - mindedness, time is given over to analysing form in space, extreme light and shade, proportion, axial shifts within the body and sculptural mass.
We work with differing lengths of pose and combinations of materials.
